Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), was established in March 1993 as a statutory agency under the Ministry of International Trade Industry (MITI). As Malaysia’s national export promotion agency, Matrade’s vision is to promote Malaysia’s exports to the world by assisting Malaysian companies succeed in the international market. It has 40 offices worldwide.

MATRADE has collaborated with CTOS Basis to enable Matrade members or Malaysia exporters to have an online access to CTOS Basis, where members can have online access to millions of business reports on their overseas buyers. In conjunction with this, CTOS Basis portal was officially launched by the then Deputy Finance Minister of Malaysia, YB Dato’ Dr Awang Adek bin Hussin on May 18, 2010.

Asiagate is an Asian largest credit reporting network. All membership to this network are by invitation and are specially chosen from the country’s best and most established credit reporting agency. It was established in 2001 with only 4 members and up until today it currently has 13 members.

Asiagate was launched by YB Datuk Seri Utama Dr Rais Yatim, the then Minister in Prime Minister Department in 2003. It is also linking up with other international groupings to enable it members to check on their customers and suppliers online globally.

CTOS Basis is also one of the founding members of Asiagate.

Credit Alliance is the first worldwide credit insurance, credit information and credit management network created by COFACE (The world’s second largest credit insurance company based in France) in 1992. It enables members to share their risk management knowledge via general annual conferences and workshops held in different countries.

Credit Alliance is currently operating in 100 countries worldwide and covers more than 50 million companies throughout the world. It contains data worth €300 billion of commercial transactions.

CTOS Basis became a Malaysian member since 1998, where the admission of CTOS Basis into the Credit Alliance network was witnessed by the then Honourable Minister of International Trade & Industry, YB Datuk Paduka Rafidah Aziz.
